"Hello, I'm a pediatric audiologist helping infants, kids, and teens with hearing difficulties and sound sensitivities. I started One Another Audiology because I know it's not just about sounds, but about improving communication and relationships, literacy and other academic successes, and a rippling impact for each child and their family.
My care focuses on accurate assessment, evidence-based treatment, and compassionate counseling. Considering the specific needs of each child and their family, I meet them where they are and equip them for the road ahead while working collaboratively with other care team members."
Education: Doctorate in Audiology (East Tennessee State University, 2015)
Bachelor of Arts in Audiology (University of Tennessee, 2009)
Certifications/Affiliations: Board Certified in Pediatric Audiology by the American Board of Audiology; Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association; Certified Breastfeeding Specialist
Research Topics: Listening self-efficacy; Effectiveness of newborn hearing screening training protocols

"My husband and I moved to the Lake Oconee area with our two children in 2020. When I'm not working with families or staying up to date on research, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking care of our 'farm' and volunteering in children's ministry."
